Irish Antimicrobial Susceptibility testing Committee

This committee was established in 2011 to provide expert advice in the area of antimicrobial susceptibility testing. This was subsequent to a joint decision by the Irish Society of Clinical Microbiology and the Academy of Medical Laboratory Scientists to transition to the European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing's (EUCAST's) methodology. It is a EUCAST recommendation that countries institute a National Antimicrobial susceptibility testing Committee (NAC).
