Irish Molecular Diagnostics Network Meeting

This working group will be focused on enhancing Ireland’s molecular diagnostic capacity from both a scientific and regulatory perspective. We believe that this group can assist users from all laboratories in the development and refinement of an accreditation ready, excellence driven service. It is also our intention that the group be all-inclusive and vendor neutral.

As there is currently a move towards broad adoption of the ISO 15189 standards, with the majority of laboratories being inspected this year, the initial focus of this working group will be on accreditation, with further meetings to focus on scientific development. The first meeting of this working group will be held in The Hilton Hotel, Charlemont Place, Dublin on the 14th of March, 2013, and an agenda is attached.
